Napoli agree deal with Manchester United for McTominay
Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is on the verge of joining Napoli.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian club has reached an agreement with the Red Devils to acquire the 27-year-old Scotsman for €30 million. Napoli's sporting director Giovanni Manna is finalizing the last details of the deal with both the Manchester club and the player, who is set to fly to Italy to sign the contract.
Scott McTominay is a product of Manchester United's academy. Last season, the midfielder scored ten goals and provided three assists in 43 matches for the Red Devils. In the current campaign, the Scotsman has come off the bench three times without any goal contributions.
McTominay's contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2025. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €32 million.
