Osimhen Refuses Loan Move to Chelsea

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has no interest in joining Chelsea on a loan deal.

According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, the forward of the Neapolitan side is seeking to leave the Italian club but is only considering a permanent transfer. Chelsea continue their negotiations with Napoli regarding Osimhen and are hopeful of reaching an agreement by Thursday, August 15.

The Nigerian striker joined the Neapolitan club from Lille in 2020 for €77.5 million. In the past season, the forward scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 32 matches.

Osimhen's contract with the Italian club runs until the summer of 2026. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is estimated at €100 million.
