Peña on competing with Szczęsny at Barcelona: «He's a phenomenon, but it's my turn to play»

Barcelona goalkeeper Iñaki Peña has spoken about the competition with Pole Wojciech Szczęsny for the role of number one in the Catalan team's goal.

In early October, the blue-granates signed a contract with Szczęsny, who last summer ended his playing career.

«Wojciech is a phenomenon. We know that he is a goalkeeper with tremendous experience who has played for many European teams at Champions League level.

As far as competition is concerned, we train to the maximum so the coach gives us opportunities. He makes the decisions. For today, it's my turn [to play]. We'll see how things change in the future», Esport3 quoted Peña as saying.

Peña has played six games for the Catalans in all competitions this season and has conceded five goals. Szczęsny has yet to make his debut for Barcelona.
