Petr Cech returns to Belfast Giants on loan

Former goalkeeper of Chelsea, Arsenal, and the Czech national football team Petr Cech has returned to the hockey team Belfast Giants.

The 42-year-old goalie has rejoined the club on a short-term loan deal, while Jackson Whistle has headed to the Great Britain national ice hockey team.

Cech made his professional hockey debut in November 2023.
