Pioli has taken charge of Al-Nassr, the club where Ronaldo plays

Stefano Pioli has been appointed as the head coach of Al-Nassr, the club where Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo plays, the Saudi club's press service announced.

The 58-year-old Italian replaces Luis Castro, who was dismissed on September 17.

After three rounds of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Nassr sits seventh in the table with five points.

Pioli's last managerial role was with AC Milan, a position he held from 2019 to 2024.
