PSG may face transfer ban if Mbappe's debt is not settled

PSG could potentially be restricted from making transfers due to an outstanding debt of 55 million euros owed to Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe.

According to L’Équipe, the club is not inclined to settle the debt despite a decision from the Legal Committee of the French Professional Football League (LFP) mandating PSG to pay the specified amount to the player.

While LFP cannot compel PSG to make the payment of 55 million euros, it does have the authority to impose sanctions on the club, one of which could include a transfer ban.

Kylian Mbappe played for the Parisians from 2018 to 2024. This summer, the Frenchman moved to Real Madrid, signing a contract with the Spanish side until 2029.
