Real Madrid has bolstered their academy with the addition of a 12-year-old Belarusian prodigy
Real Madrid has announced on social media the signing of 12-year-old Belarusian footballer Alexey Mayorov.
Mayorov previously played for the Spanish clubs Espanyol and Cerdanyola. Last season, he scored 59 goals in 22 matches.
The Belarusian will join Infantil B (U-13), which is a part of the Los Blancos academy.
Mayorov had also been invited to train at the academy of Spartak Moscow. Additionally, his father mentioned that Zenit had made an offer to sign Alexey, but it was declined.
