Real Sociedad midfielder Zubimendi rejects Liverpool move
Real Sociedad's defensive midfielder Martín Zubimendi has turned down a move to Liverpool.
According to Relevo, the Merseyside club was willing to meet the 25-year-old's release clause of 60 million euros stipulated in his contract.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been with Real Sociedad since 2020. In the last season, he made 45 appearances across all competitions for the white and blues, scoring four goals and providing one assist. Transfermarkt currently values the player at 50 million euros.
