Ronaldo Calls TV Pundits Who Criticise Him "Rats"
Portugal's national team and Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to criticism from television pundits.
"People always focus on the worst, not the best. So what now? Should I retire because I'm being criticised by two rats? The world loves me, the fans love me. That's my motivation to keep playing football. People love me. My shine won’t disappear just because two people on television, whom no one knows, criticise me," Ronaldo said in an interview with Rio Ferdinand.
On September 5, Ronaldo scored his 900th career goal in a Nations League match against Croatia. The Portuguese forward also has 254 assists to his name.
