Sabalenka has been crowned the champion of the 2024 US Open

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka has claimed victory at the 2024 US Open.

In the final, the world number two defeated American Jessica Pegula with a score of 7-5, 7-5. The match lasted 1 hour and 53 minutes.

In last year’s final at the American Grand Slam, Sabalenka lost to fellow American Coco Gauff.
