Sainz Believes Ferrari Can Clinch the 2024 Constructors' Championship Title

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr. has expressed optimism about Scuderia Ferrari's chances of securing the Constructors' Championship by the end of the season.

Reflecting on the team's performance at the Italian Grand Prix, Sainz noted, "When you look at how we competed at Monza, you can see that we were on equal footing with McLaren. This could be a crucial factor in the fight for the Constructors' Championship, as our team scored the most points at Monza. This not only boosts our chances of clinching a few more victories this season but also enhances our prospects of contending for the Constructors' title. I believe that if we maintain our pace on other circuits, the battle with McLaren and Red Bull will be intense," Sainz stated to racingnews365.

On September 1st, the Italian Grand Prix concluded at the Monza circuit, with Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc emerging victorious.

Currently, Red Bull leads the Constructors' Championship with 446 points, followed by McLaren with 438 points, and Ferrari in third place with 407 points.
