Sampdoria announces Pirlo's dismissal as head coach
Former AC Milan and Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has been dismissed from his position as head coach of Sampdoria, the Genoa club's press service announced.
The decision was made following three rounds of the new Serie B season, during which the team, under the guidance of the 45-year-old coach, accumulated just one point.
Andrea Pirlo had been leading Sampdoria since the summer of 2023.
