Serbian President Vučić Criticises Officiating in Olympic Semi-Final Against USA
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has voiced his criticism regarding the officiating decisions in the basketball semi-final against the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On 8 August, the United States defeated Serbia 95-91 (23-31, 20-23, 20-22, 32-15), despite losing three of the four quarters.
«Next time, tell us in advance who we are not allowed to beat. In which country would this not be called a travel?», — Vučić wrote on social media, posting a video of US basketball player Joel Embiid driving to the basket.
The Olympic final between the USA and France is scheduled for 10 August.
