Sinner Advances to US Open Quarterfinals, Set to Face Medvedev

Italian tennis player and world No. 1 Jannik Sinner has triumphed over American Tommy Paul (ranked 14th in the ATP rankings) with a score of 7-6, 7-6, 6-1 in their US Open 2024 Round of 16 match.

The encounter lasted 2 hours and 46 minutes. Sinner registered ten aces, committed one double fault, and converted four out of 14 break points. On the American's side, Paul hit four aces, made three double faults, and successfully converted two out of four break points.

In the next stage of the US Open, Sinner is set to play against Russian Daniil Medvedev on 4 September. The Grand Slam tournament is scheduled to conclude on 8 September.
