Spain held to draw by Serbia in Nations League match

The national teams of Spain and Serbia played to a goalless draw in their Group A4 opener of the Nations League. The match took place at the Rajko Mitić Stadium in Belgrade and ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

Despite being the reigning European champions, Spain were unable to convert any of their 22 shots, six of which were on target.

Spain currently sits in second place in Group A4 of the Nations League standings. Serbia also has one point and is positioned third.

In the next round, Luis de la Fuente's Spanish side will travel to face Switzerland, while Serbia will visit Denmark. Both matches are scheduled for 8 September.
