Sterling became the first footballer to compete in the Champions League for four different English clubs

On Thursday, September 19, the opening match of the Champions League took place between Atalanta and Arsenal, ending in a goalless draw (0-0). 

Among the Arsenal squad was winger Raheem Sterling, who made history as the first English footballer to compete in the Champions League for four different clubs.

Previously, Sterling has played in the tournament for Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
