Sterling could continue his career at Aston Villa

Midfielder Raheem Sterling of Chelsea may continue his career at Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mail.

The Birmingham club's head coach Unai Emery is interested in bringing the England international on board. Villa has ramped up its recruitment efforts after failing to secure the signing of João Félix from Atlético Madrid, who ended up joining Chelsea.

It has been reported that Sterling has been suspended from training with Chelsea's first team. London manager Enzo Maresca informed the 29-year-old player that he does not feature in his plans for the upcoming season.
