Strickland Aims for Fight with Du Plessis in the USA
American MMA fighter Sean Strickland has expressed his desire to face UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis in the United States.
"We will fight on the land of freedom. You can't run from me, Dutchman... I know you'll try... But it won't happen. 'You're next in line' — those are Dana White's words. We'll bring the belt back to America, where it belongs," Strickland wrote on social media.
From the night of August 17 to 18, UFC 305 took place, where du Plessis defeated New Zealand's Israel Adesanya in the main event, successfully defending his middleweight title.
