Ten Hag comments on Manchester United's victory over Southampton
Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag commented on his team's 3-0 victory over Southampton in the fourth round of the Premier League.
"We need to win every game, and today we accomplished that. Sometimes you have to find a way to win. We faced some challenges in the early minutes, but after Andre saved the penalty and De Ligt scored, the game swung in our favor.
Rashford's goal is very important. We discussed this before the match. It's crucial for every forward to be on the scoresheet. He has now scored his first goal, and I'm sure there will be more to come," Ten Hag told BBC.
Manchester United has accumulated six points and climbed to seventh place in the Premier League table.
In the next round, United will face Crystal Palace on September 21.
