Ten Hag Responds to Ronaldo's Criticism: "He is Far Away from Manchester"

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has responded to criticism from former Red Devils forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

"He said that Manchester United cannot win the Premier League. That's what he said, if you read the article carefully. But Ronaldo is far away in Saudi Arabia; he is too distant from Manchester. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's all fine," ten Hag was quoted as saying by journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.

On September 11, the Portuguese footballer stated that it would be difficult for Manchester United to win the Premier League, Champions League, or Europa League without a significant overhaul.

After three rounds of the English Premier League, the Red Devils are in 14th place in the table, with three points.
