Kladno suffered a 5-1 defeat to Pardubice in the opening match of the new Czech Extraliga season on the road.

The 52-year-old forward Jaromir Jagr, who is not only the owner of Kladno but also occasionally plays for the team, registered an assist in the game. The legendary forward played on the third line and also made appearances during power plays.

Jaromir Jagr is a two-time World Champion and an Olympic champion with the Czech national team. He also won the Stanley Cup twice with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
