The Spanish government has responded to Vinicius Junior's statement regarding rаcism

Spain’s Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska has responded to comments made by Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, who stated that Spain should not host the 2030 FIFA World Cup if the country's rаcism issues are not addressed.

«Respect for diversity is part of our DNA. We are actively fighting against any forms of discrimination. This is one of the priorities of the Spanish government and our ministry», Grande-Marlaska stated in an interview with the French online publication RMC Sport.

The 2030 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, with plans to hold opening matches in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay.
