Two Barcelona stars injured in match against Monaco

Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and İlkay Gündoğan sustained injuries during the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Monaco, which ended in a 0-3 defeat, Diario Sport reports.

Lewandowski awkwardly landed on his arm in the first half and was substituted in the second half. Gündoğan, who came on after the break, fell to the pitch in the 64th minute while contesting a ball and received a knee to the head from an opposing player, resulting in a cut. Gündoğan eventually left the field as well.

On August 17, Barcelona will face Valencia in the first round of the new La Liga season.
