UFC President Responds to Question on McGregor's Next Opponent
UFC President Dana White has commented on the return of Irish fighter Conor McGregor to the octagon.
"Who will Conor's opponent be? That will be known once McGregor is ready to get back into the octagon, whenever that may be. Conor called me yesterday when he found out I was in Ireland. McGregor himself is currently in New York, training," White's words were reported by MMA Fighting.
McGregor has not competed in the octagon since the summer of 2021, when he suffered an injury in a fight against American Dustin Poirier.
