WADA Decides Not to Appeal Ruling in Case of World No. 1 Sinner

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has decided not to appeal the decision of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) regarding the disqualification of Italian player Jannik Sinner. This was reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Earlier, the ITIA announced that Jannik Sinner had failed two doping tests during the Masters series tournament in Indian Wells, California, USA, in March. Despite this, the Italian avoided disqualification but was stripped of the ranking points and prize money he earned at the tournament.

WADA’s decision means that Jannik Sinner will not be found guilty of violating anti-doping regulations.

Sinner, 23, has been at the top of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings since June.
