"We Should Not Have Lost": Ten Hag Reacts to Brighton Defeat

Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag, commented on the 1-2 defeat to Brighton in their second Premier League match.

"We made more than one mistake. We need to have a discussion about it. We were close to winning this match, but we definitely should not have lost. Both goals we conceded were very soft. We should have performed better," Ten Hag was quoted as saying by Daily Mail journalist Chris Wheeler.

With this result, Brighton has gathered six points, maintaining their provisional lead in the Premier League standings. Manchester United, with three points, currently occupies the eighth position.
