I have worked in the betting and online casino industry since 2017 and at Legalbet since 2020. Since 2026, I have been in charge of the bonuses section. I set the standards for how bonuses are reviewed and check our selections before publication. I do not judge a promotion by the headline amount, but by the full terms: the type of bonus and how it is awarded, rollover requirements, validity period, restrictions and how much different games contribute towards wagering.

I have loved sport and reading since childhood. After earning an engineering degree, I worked in the field for a couple of years but realised it was not the best fit for me. I began my career in journalism in 2009, initially writing about youth and amateur competitions. I then joined Eurosport as a news editor and progressed to the role of output editor. I also worked on video content as a scriptwriter and presenter.

In 2017, I moved into betting and iGaming, working on Predictions, Betting School, casino reviews and analysis of bonus offers. At Legalbet, I developed a deeper understanding of bookmakers and casinos as businesses. I also became good at translating legal language into plain English, a skill that is particularly useful when covering bonus terms and conditions. In 2021, I moderated a discussion panel at Russian Gaming Week in Moscow and spoke at an affiliate conference in Tashkent.

Basketball is my favourite sport. I play it myself and have even won one of the amateur leagues I competed in. When it comes to casinos, I prefer live dealer games and poker because I make the decisions myself rather than leaving them to RNG algorithms.
