Having reclaimed their place at the summit of Danish football, Copenhagen are now setting their sights on reaching the Champions League group stage. They kicked off their domestic season with an impressive 3:2 victory over Viborg, and are widely expected to face minimal resistance from KF Drita.
Copenhagen
Since late June, Copenhagen have played a series of friendlies against strong opposition. Two weeks ago, the squad secured a 1:0 win over newly promoted Bundesliga side Hamburger. In last Friday’s clash with Viborg, they posted 3.04 xG, highlighting their attacking prowess. However, defensive vulnerabilities persist — the squad conceded 2.00 xGA and allowed 10 shots against a mid-table side, raising concerns about their back line.
KF Drita
KF Drita have started the new campaign with high-scoring performances. Including friendlies against FK Sileks (2:2) and FCV Farul Constanța (3:1), Drita have seen the Total Over 3 line hit in three of their last four matches. In their away fixture against FC Differdange 03 (3:2), the team raced into a two-goal lead within 17 minutes, underlining the threat posed by their counter-attacks.
Copenhagen vs KF Drita Prediction
Copenhagen are expected to field a dangerous attacking partnership featuring Youssoufa Moukoko and Andreas Cornelius in this opening Champions League qualifying round, with Mohamed Elyounoussi and Jordan Larsson offering creative support. Drita, buoyed by their success in the first qualifying round, are also well-positioned to get on the scoresheet in Denmark.
