Rigas Futbola Skola enjoyed a successful European campaign last season, progressing through the qualifiers and ultimately reaching the group stage of the UEFA Europa League. Along the way, the team produced some impressive performances, including a 1:1 draw with RSC Anderlecht and a 1:0 win over AFC Ajax. Ahead of their upcoming clash with FC Levadia Tallinn, RFS are expected to stay fully focused, aiming to secure a favourable result early in the tie to conserve energy.
FC Levadia Tallinn
FC Levadia Tallinn have several weaknesses, with a total market value of only €4.08 million. Although they are currently in solid domestic form, having recorded six consecutive league victories, the relatively low level of competition in the Estonian top division casts doubt on their ability to perform at a higher European level. Since 18 May, they have managed just three clean sheets in their last nine fixtures.
Rigas Futbola Skola
Building on their strong European display last season, Rigas Futbola Skola have been active in the transfer market. In the past fortnight, they have brought in several promising new additions, including Strahinja Rakic, Tayrell Wouter, Marko Marić and Davis Ikaunieks, with a combined market value of €2.1 million. Since 22 June, RFS have registered wins over FK Auda and FK Jelgava (both 1:0), FK Liepāja (2:1), and a commanding 7:1 victory against BFC Daugavpils. They look well-prepared to make another strong push in European competition.
FC Levadia Tallinn vs Rigas Futbola Skola Prediction
While FC Levadia Tallinn may take encouragement from playing the first leg at home, Rigas Futbola Skola appear capable of delivering a convincing away performance. The best value lies in backing goals from the Latvians.
