Bookmakers are anticipating an open contest in the second leg between Rigas Futbola Skola and Levadia Tallinn, despite the first leg pointing to a more cautious affair. In Estonia, the visiting side clinched a narrow win through a converted penalty, with the two teams combining for just eight shots on target across 90 minutes.
Rigas Futbola Skola
Supporters of Rigas Futbola Skola might have expected a more assertive showing away from home, particularly given the squad’s considerably higher market value — €12.90 million compared to €4.08 million. After Stefan Panic opened the scoring from the spot, the team retreated deep into their own penalty area, operating in a low defensive block. This strategy led to just 33% possession in the second half. Over the weekend, RFS edged past FK Jelgava with a 1:0 away win — their fifth match to feature fewer than 2.5 goals in their last six.
Levadia Tallinn
Levadia Tallinn were given a weekend off in domestic competition to focus on preparing for this second leg in the Champions League qualifiers. At home, they managed only one shot on target in the first 45 minutes — a performance that fell short of supporters’ expectations. They are likely to create even fewer opportunities on the road. The introduction of four substitutes failed to provide an attacking spark, underlining the squad’s lack of depth in forward positions.
Rigas Futbola Skola vs Levadia Tallinn Prediction
It seems unlikely that either Rigas Futbola Skola or Levadia Tallinn will make significant tactical changes within the space of a week — particularly ones driven by emotion or unnecessary risk-taking. This sets the stage for a reliable Total Under bet in what could be another tightly contested fixture.
