20-Year-Old Former Premier League Player Accused of Rape

A former player from one of the English Premier League (EPL) clubs is facing allegations of rape, according to reports from The Sun.

The 20-year-old athlete was arrested but is not publicly named at this time due to legal reasons. It is understood that he was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 9, at a hotel in London, but was later released on bail.

The day before, he had reportedly met a woman of his age in a bar, and they subsequently went to the hotel together. The following day, the woman alleged that she had been sexually assaulted.

The footballer vehemently denies all accusations. DNA samples and fingerprints have been collected for the necessary investigations.
