A player from the Italian club has been suspended for ten matches for comparing an opponent to Jackie Chan
Marco Curto, a player for Italian club Como, has been banned for ten matches due to an instance of rаcism, as reported by Sky Sports.
During a friendly match against Wolverhampton in July, Curto compared the Korean footballer Hwang Hee-chan from the English team to actor Jackie Chan. This led to a complaint from the Korean Football Association to FIFA. As a result, Curto has been suspended for ten matches, with five of those being a conditional suspension.
Half of this penalty has been deferred for two years as a probationary period. Additionally, the player is required to engage in community service and complete courses with an organization designated by FIFA.
