Agüero sues Barcelona
Former Barcelona striker Sergio Agüero has filed a lawsuit against the Catalan club over unpaid wages amounting to €3 million.
Agüero became a Barcelona player in the summer of 2021, but his career was abruptly cut short in December due to a heart condition, preventing him from completing his contract.
According to As, Barcelona had informed Agüero that he would receive his salary for the first year through an insurance policy. However, the insurance company refused to pay, claiming the player's heart condition was pre-existing since childhood. Now, the Argentine is demanding the promised payment directly from the club.
