Al Nassr footballer Salem Al-Naji lost consciousness while celebrating a goal scored by teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Saudi club defender jumped for joy following Ronaldo's goal in the AFC Champions League match and struck his head against the ceiling of the substitutes' bench. As a result, he had to be carried off the field on a stretcher with the assistance of paramedics, as reported by Arriyadiyah.
Al Nassr secured a home victory against Qatari side Al Rayyan in the second round of the AFC Champions League, finishing the match with a score of 2-1. Roger Guedes scored for the visitors in the 87th minute, while Sadio Mane (45+1') and Cristiano Ronaldo (76') netted goals for the hosts, with Ronaldo's effort proving to be the match-winner for the Saudi team.
