Argentina to Face Brazil in Futsal World Cup 2024 Final

The second semifinal of the Futsal World Cup has concluded, with Argentina advancing to their third consecutive final after defeating France 3-2.

In the final match, which will take place in Uzbekistan, Argentina will face Brazil, the tournament’s most successful team.

Argentina took the lead just three minutes into the game, but France quickly equalized after six minutes. However, the French team couldn’t hold onto the draw, as Argentina scored again in the eighth minute. In the second half, France leveled the score once more, but in the closing moments, Argentinian player Arrieta converted a free kick, securing the victory for his team.

The Futsal World Cup has been running from September 14 to October 6 across three cities in Uzbekistan: Andijan, Bukhara, and Tashkent. The current World Cup holder is Portugal, who claimed the title in 2021.
