Bayer's head coach Xabi Alonso is very likely to leave the club next summer, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg on social media.
According to the source, the Spanish specialist is interested in English “Manchester City”, as the current mentor of “citizens” Josep Guardiola may leave the club. Leverkusen, in turn, are considering Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeness and Julian Nagelsmann's assistant in the German national team Sandro Wagner as a replacement for Alonso.
