Under the management of Xabi Alonso, German club Bayer Leverkusen has set a new club record for the most consecutive home matches without defeat, as reported by Opta.

According to the source, Bayer has remained unbeaten in 10 consecutive home matches in major European competitions. 

It is worth noting that on October 1, during the second round of the Champions League, Bayer secured a 1-0 victory against Italian side AC Milan. In the first round of the group stage, they delivered a commanding 4-0 win over Dutch club Feyenoord.

Bayer's next home game is scheduled for October 5 against Holstein Kiel in the sixth round of the German Bundesliga.
