Chelsea set to bid over €75 Million for Ukrainian midfielder
Chelsea are poised to acquire Ukrainian midfielder Georgiy Sudakov from Shakhtar.
According to the Daily Express, the London club is prepared to offer €78 million for the midfielder. Arsenal are also showing interest in signing Sudakov. However, the player himself is keen to join Chelsea, as his compatriot and friend Mykhailo Mudryk currently plays for the Blues.
The 22-year-old Sudakov has been with Shakhtar since 2021. This season, the midfielder has made 11 appearances across all competitions, netting seven goals and providing two assists. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €35 million.
Sudakov made his debut for the Ukrainian national team in 2021. To date, he has earned 24 caps and scored three goals for his country.
