Chelsea's head coach Maresca commented on the victory over West Ham
Chelsea's head coach, Enzo Maresca, commented on the 3-0 victory over West Ham during the fifth round of the English Premier League (EPL).
«Especially with the performance and the three points. A clean sheet, it was a complete performance. The way the players are buying the idea and the different style. That has been top. The way we are working off the ball. Nicolas and Cole's performance have been top. Not only because they score. If we understand that we need that, the desire, we can build something important.
I think we are on the right path. We are on the right direction. This is a long journey. Because we are in a good moment, it looks like everything is fine but not everything is fine. We could attack better, we could defend better. The most important thing is how the players work together,» Maresca told Football.London.
As a result of the match, the Blues climbed to second place in the Premier League table with ten points. In the next round on September 28, Chelsea will face Brighton.
