Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has spoken about the future of winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with the team.

«The club is negotiating with the player's camp, but I cannot disclose any details. I ask Khvicha to focus on the season and continue doing his job. He is a professional. I hope everything will be resolved in the best possible way for the club, the player, and his agent. However, in football, anything is possible. Regardless of whether this deal is reached, the player must remain focused,» Conte was quoted as saying by AS.

Earlier reports indicated that the parties have been unable to agree on a contract extension. Kvaratskhelia's current agreement with Napoli runs until June 2027.
