CSKA Moscow has announced the signing of former Barcelona and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanić
CSKA Moscow announced on its official website the signing of Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanić as a free agent.
The agreement with the 34-year-old midfielder is for one year, with an option to extend for an additional season. Miralem will wear the number 15 jersey for the army team. On September 19, Legalbet was the first to report CSKA's interest in Pjanić.
Since 2022, the Bosnian has been playing for Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates. During his time with the Emirati club, he made 61 appearances, scoring five goals and providing 16 assists. He left the club on July 1 after his contract expired.
From 2011 to 2016, Pjanić played for AS Roma before transferring to Juventus for €32 million. While at the Turin club, he won four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies, and one Supercoppa Italiana. In September 2020, he joined Barcelona, which paid €60 million for his transfer. During his time with the Catalan club, Pjanić played 30 matches without registering any goals or assists.
For the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, the midfielder has made 115 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 29 assists.
