Deschamps has addressed the recent allegations of rape against Mbappé

France's national team coach Didier Deschamps has addressed the recent allegations of rape against forward Kylian Mbappé.

Speaking to L’Équipe, Deschamps commented: "Information is coming from everywhere right now, whether it's true or false, I don't know. It's hard to say. He's old enough to explain it himself. There's a very negative atmosphere around us at the moment. I’m keeping my distance, but this isn’t good for the French national team."

Mbappé, who traveled to Sweden for international duty, is reportedly under investigation as a "justified suspect" in a case involving sexual harassment and rape. The player himself has dismissed the accusations as "fake news," alleging they are a provocation from PSG
