Details have emerged regarding a potential transfer of Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid

Real Madrid plans to wait for the opening of the winter transfer window to make contact with Liverpool's right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to Marca.

The report indicates that the club intends to use a similar approach to the one employed with Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies: initiating discussions with the player in January to formally comply with all regulations and to extend an offer.

Moreover, the source claims that Alexander-Arnold himself is not inclined to make a decision regarding a potential contract extension with Liverpool before the new year. This decision may be influenced by the team's performance under manager Arne Slot in the near future.

Previously, Real Madrid's main right-back, Dani Carvajal, suffered a serious injury, potentially sidelining him for up to a year.

Currently, the 26-year-old Trent has played seven matches in the Premier League for Liverpool this season and has recorded one assist.
