Details have emerged regarding the potential contract extension for Guardiola with Manchester City
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola might extend his tenure with the club for another year. According to The Telegraph, the most likely outcome is a new one-year contract agreement between the Spaniard and the club.
While the club would prefer him to sign a long-term contract, they would also welcome an extension of the current agreement. Guardiola's contract with Manchester City is valid until the summer of 2025. He took charge of the English team in 2016 and led the club to its first-ever Champions League title.
In the 2022/2023 season, Manchester City achieved a treble. Under the Spaniard's leadership, the team has won the English championship six times.
Currently, Manchester City holds second place in the Premier League standings with 17 points after seven matches.
