"Easy to Blame Others": Maguire Stands Up for Ten Hag

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has come to the defense of head coach Erik ten Hag amid reports of the manager's potential dismissal.

"It's easiest for a footballer to look around and blame others for failures—blame a teammate, the coach, the staff, or the tactics. But we must look at ourselves, as it is us who step onto the pitch. We need to take responsibility. The results haven't been what we want. I know we should be earning more points," Maguire told ESPN GB.

On October 6th, Manchester United will face Aston Villa in the seventh round of the Premier League. The match will kick off at 16:00 MSK at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Currently, after six rounds in the English championship, Manchester United is 14th in the standings with seven points, while Aston Villa stands in fifth place with 13 points.
