England coach Carsley: «It's a shame the match against Greece isn't next week»

Acting head coach of England Lee Carsley commented on the victory of his national team over Finland (3:1) in the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the Nations League.

«The team responded very well - in the best possible way. The players scored three good goals. Today we played much better [than against Greece]. We controlled the ball a lot more, made a lot of passes and created chances. But we can play even better.

It's a shame we won't play the Greeks next week», the UEFA press service quoted Carsley as saying.

England are second in the Group 2 table with nine points. In the next match Carsley's wards will play away against Greece on November 14.
