Font: "Enough with the lies, Barcelona won't be able to sign Haaland"
Former Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has stated that the club will not be able to secure the signing of forward Erling Haaland.
"The situation at the club is worse than it was last year. Revenues have fallen from €894 million to €893 million. This is a fabrication that bears no relation to reality. All income from Camp Nou will go towards repaying debts. Currently, player expenses amount to €510 million, and this figure is set to increase. The contracts of Yamal, Pedri, and Gavi are outdated and require improvement. If we do not address our debts, we will not be able to sign Erling Haaland. Enough with the lies and the illusions," Font was quoted as saying by As.
It was previously reported that Barcelona president Joan Laporta intends to secure a contract with Haaland by 2025 or 2026.
