"He's Lethal in the Box": Lampard on the Best Forward He Ever Played With
Former Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard has shared his thoughts on the best striker he has ever played alongside.
"Aguero is at the very top. I was fortunate enough to play with some great players. Didier Drogba was someone I always admired as a versatile forward because he gave you everything. But Aguero is the best I’ve ever played with. He might be quiet for most of the game, but then he scores the winning goal, and he can do it from anywhere. In the box, he's lethal, he's insightful, and he has immense confidence," Lampard told Give Me Sport.
The 36-year-old Aguero retired in 2021. The striker played 390 matches across all competitions for the 'Citizens' and scored 260 goals.
