"I Love Fishing," Says Foden on His Post-Career Plans
England and Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has shared his plans for life after his football career.
"I'll start a fishing vlog. When I was about five years old, my father always took me fishing, and since then, I've loved it. I've caught anything and everything, sometimes smaller fish, but the more success I had, the more I wanted to catch something bigger. It's pure joy—I love fishing anywhere. During the training camp before the European Championship, we had lakes on the golf course, and I managed to catch a few carp there," Foden told Goal.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been with Manchester City since 2017, and his contract with the club runs until June 2027.
Foden has made 41 appearances and scored four goals for the England national team.
