"I See His Desire to Win" — Arteta on Sterling's Contribution to Arsenal's Game
Arsenal's head coach, Mikel Arteta, has spoken about the midfielder Raheem Sterling's role in the Gunners' lineup.
"He is fantastic! Sterling is ready to play. I see his desire to win; he is eager for more game time to make an impact. I hope we can witness Raheem in full force tomorrow. He has already had a few minutes on the pitch, and tomorrow he will have another opportunity," Arteta remarked, as quoted by journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.
On August 31, Sterling moved from Chelsea to Arsenal on loan. The midfielder’s agreement with the Gunners is set to last until the end of the season.
On Wednesday, September 25, the London club will face Bolton in the EFL Cup's Round of 32.
